Gratitude
Hard to believe it is already February, seems like this year is already flying by.
Today, I am filled with so much appreciation and love for how crazy life is, and how far it is from perfect. Often times, we tend to look at pictures on social media and think “man their lives are perfect.” But we forget to realize that the stories, heartbreaks, mishaps and events to get to that one moment probably wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine. Life has a funny sense of humor.
If you would asked me a year ago if this is where I would be in my life — I probably would of laughed and not been able to answer it. It’s funny how life works like that and that things always tend to work out how they’re supposed.
I always thought by the time I was 22 I’d have my life together done with my education and working in my career. But it didn’t work like that for me and it’s ok. I’m 25 and I have been blessed with so many opportunities I could've never imagined. All I have to say is hard work ALWAYS pays off. It’s ok if you don’t reach your goals at the time you wanted it because life has a funny sense of humor. But don’t give up on those goals and dreams.
Things not working the way I wanted to or at the moment I wanted it to — has seriously changed my life in so many ways. I’ve been able to meet some incredible people that will forever be my lifelong friends. Opportunities I would of never imagined. I’m simply amazed by every day at the changes and opportunities we received and choose to pursue.
I’m not perfect, I’m human — we learn, we grow, and we change. Life isn’t always perfect and it will never be, and that’s the beauty of it. It’s how we look at life that will make it that much more beautiful.
